Newfoundland and Labrador has travel restrictions in place to limit entry into the province to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You are only permitted entry into Newfoundland and Labrador if your reason for travel is essential as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer of Health. Please visit our website to ensure that your reason for travel is allowed at this time, that you have the required documentation and pieces of identification. Non-essential travel is not permitted at this time.

Travellers entering Newfoundland and Labrador from international locations and whose travel has been approved by Canada Border Services Agency must also ensure their purpose of travel meets the extenuating circumstances outlined by the Chief Medical Officer of Health. Approval by Canadian Border Security Agency does not guarantee entry into the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
